Theyr'e okay providing you don't have to go into the front locker for any reason on your travels plus it's another item to store when not in use. It may help to keep the front of the caravan clean but then you have the task of cleaning the front cover as well as the rest of the caravan which seems more bother than they're worth considering how much they cost.

We have a front towing cover, abet its a light weight one. Easy to put on 10 - 15 minutes with tweaking into place. And you can access the wet locker with it on, undo 2 buckles and lift the cover up. Had no problems with it flapping about when moving.
