Just connected the system up [prior to a trip away].

Started the pump, system filled up, opened the taps until the water ran freely.....all well

However....the pump does not switch itself off, the light stays on and the pump can be heard constantly running.

Any idea whats happening?

If it's a system with a pressure switch then it sounds like this needs adjusting. Do you know how to set the pressure switch at all?

if it has micro switches in the taps it could be one of them faulty

Yes that's right so it depends on which of the two systems you have as to what steps you need to take to rectify the problem.

hi.....this happend to us last week when we were away......we had to buy a new pump....problem solved

I switch mine on and off manually  when required.  Sometimes forget to switch off ha ha
