We have a 2004 Lunar Chateau 500 and want to get a decent size porch awning. Most sizes seem to fall between 330 and 390 (mainly the Kampa ones). The caravan has about a 350cm totally straight rail along the top and then it angles gently for about 70cm towards the front and then steeper after that. (see piccie below)
So my question is - Is it ok for some of the porch awning to be fixed to a gently sloping bit or should it be just fixed to the straight bit?
we used to have a 390 awning but it was to large for our caravan. We used it once but it never looked right as it came down the sloping awning rail by about 6ins each side and it was hell of a job to peg it to make it look any thing like. In short on a porch awning only use the horizontal awning rail.
