So sorry to hear about your dog.

Didnt realise that adders were on Anglesey,we are going to Nothumberland in July and have heard that some are up there.

Good advise about keeping local vets numbers in your phone.Our springer spaniel just loves to rummage around in the undergrowth so we will certainly be a bit more cautious with her now.

Our GSD was bitten by an Adder and her nose swelled up ..... she, also, wasn't the same dog afterwards - it kind of changed her somehow.

She got over it within 48 hours.

Now she is dying with a Tumour and being too old to operate (and tumour too aggressive) .... keep an eye on them when in Adder countryside.
