Yes, I find it funny that a Loo Full Sensor can be compared in an equal way to, say, a Mass Air Flow Sensor in a car which operates on, say, a hot wire system.

I do apologise if I have offended you and if I came across as arrogant.

But Caravan Electrics cannot be compared to Car Electronics, sorry to burst your bubble about that - but, it is the truth.

In my opinion, in most cases, a Modified Sine Wave will serve perfectly for indution (Motors) or resistive (Lighting). Many electronic devices now utilise digital time calculations as a function of their operation and require Pure Sine Wave (as Modified Sine Wave stops for a fraction on the zero line where a pure sine wave would not).

Anyway, I have ruffled feathers here - so, shall keep my technological knowledge firmly under wraps from here on in.

It is a mystery .... could they end up in back gardens rotting away? Maybe as chicken roosts? Club huts?

Is there a market opening for scrapped caravans?, there could be!

Must be a market for secondhand heaters/fridges/boilers/hobs/ovens?

they must be scrapped because of contamination from the water i would think.plus the main structure will be soaked/expanded and not safe to use.

Hi michael, I agree they should be scrapped, but not all will be. They are not the same as a car write off, most of the car parts can and do get re-used ( spares ), suspect some caravan parts can be re-used, toilet units, hobs, heaters etc.- all can be cleaned and sanitized, and completely  dried out before re sale from the breakers, not so with the caravan insulation, cant dry out because sandwiched by outer and inner skin,  as in my earlier reply to the OP, it’s the vans that do not look to bad that have a very good chance of being sold on to unsuspecting buyers, and with this economic situation, no doubt there will be a lot of flood damage vans for re sale, as the temptation of good profits will be to great to resist, (a case of do whatever to survive).
