On sunday me and the wife with our 4 year old twin daughters and 2 dogs are of to the isle of wight for 12 nights, actually got a good deal of £375 for the 12 nights including ferry and staying at Noeds point.
Our dogs are part of the family and we dont like leaving them on their own, but occasionaly we have to do, I know their is different views on this and this is not my question but at most it might be for 2 hours now again if we go swimming or something like that but only at night or if its cool.
What my question is that their is some things we want to do for the kids like go to theme parks for the day for the kids that I imagine dogs are not allowed, but is their any kennels near us we could pay to leave the dogs for the day as their is no way i would leave my dogs in the caravan/awning for the day
------------- If its happened you cant change time so their is no point in stressing, it is what it is
We've been to the Isle of Wight many times over the last 8 years or so and our dog has been to most places except the beaches which are dog free in the summer.
Dogs were certainly welcome at Blackgang Chine when we visited and the same people own Robins Hill Park so it may be worth checking their website.
These people near Ryde have boarding kennels and often board dogs whose owners are staying in dog free accommodation so may be able to help with day boarding:

Hope you have a great time, we were there for the 10 hot days last month.
It also may be worth checking regards leaving your dogs in the car during the short ferry crossing, we went about 4 years ago with Red Funnel and dogs were not allowed inside any of the public lounges or eating areas, and had to remain in the car or out on deck, not so good if the weather is bad out there.

Yes, dogs travel free onboard our ferries - there is no need to book them.
Wightlink are unable to provide kennels or cages. All animals must be secured in a suitable container or restrained in the appropriate manner. Motorists may keep their animals in the car during the crossing, or take them onto outside deck or designated lounge on board. However, they are not allowed in the main passenger lounges. Assistance dogs are allowed in the main passenger lounges but must be at the aft or forward end of the ferry, away from cafe/bar areas.
It is the dog owner's responsibility to ensure the animal behaves in an appropriate manner and does not cause distress or inconvenience to other passengers

Carriage of Pets
A charge applies to the carriage of dogs on the Hi-Speed Service but Guide dogs are carried free of charge.
Dogs must not be allowed to sit on seats or obstruct the emergency exists.
Pets must be carried in RSPCA approved pet carriers or restrained by a harness or collar and lead whilst on board, and kept on the floor.
Owners are also requested to please ensure that their pet does not cause a nuisance to other passengers.
If a pet fouls the passenger accommodation, a cleaning charge of £10 will be levied on the owner. Failure to pay this penalty to the Cabin Attendant or adhere to the Policy may result in our refusal to permit travel in future.
To allow for 'calls of nature', customers are recommend to allow sufficient time to exercise their dog before boarding the ferry.
