We have a 1981/2 Sprite Alpine 4 berth that we bought to use for storage. We now don't need the storage but we think that we'll spend a bit of time and get it running. We think it's fairly dry but need to look at it once it's emptied out fully.

Really not sure how it will work out as we're quite happy with our tent set up but we'll give it a go.

Is there a thread somewhere with pictures and details of old vans? I remember seeing something but can't find it?

this was our very first caravan.bought it for £500 put 2 tyres on it,had 8 holidays away in it,sold it for 750 to upgrade to a newer one.

HiI we just bought our first van (Patsy) an Eccles Coral, 1994 I think and looking forward to putting our own personal stamp on her. We went to pick her up today so her maiden voyage with us you might say, old man now having a beer as it was first ever time towing ......he done fantastic.

We have had our 19 yr old van for over a year now and love it, can't see any reason to get rid of her as it suits our needs.

our Elddis is 31 now, she was bought with the intention of trading her in for a newer 'van if we enjoyed it but we can't bear to part with her now. She does everything we need.
