after putting up our awning at the weekend, the other half still isnt happy with it, is there any person around either around the ipswich felixstowe area, that would be willing to put the awning up properly for us, and of course you would be paid.
we have an Isabella awning that came with the van, so no instructions but we have found that the majority of awnings are erected in the same way. We start by threading the awing through the awning rail till it's roughly the same height both sides. We then start in one corner putting the pole attached to the caravan, then the corner and leg. Hubby then usually fits the central part and then connects it to the corner and keeps on until all poles are fitted. I think the crucial part is to loosely peg out the corners whilst zipping on the doors. Once the doors are on we adjust the legs ensuring they line up with the corner seams of the awning and are then tensioned to make the awning taut. Once it looks right we peg it out. Groundsheet is fitted over the mudflaps, skirt and curtains added
