Having a week near Oxford just wondered what was occurring :-) things to do places to see etc. 3 pubs in the area all dog friendly so the odd evening sorted.

Blenheim Palace is not far away (Woodstock) The Black Horse in Kidlington does good meals at a reasonable price eg Monday and Tuesday you can get a steak and a drink for £7.99. Oxford is certainly worth a visit and you can drive to Water Eaton and use the Park and Ride. If shopping interests you, Bicester Village is not far away.
Are you at Greenhill Farm? If so, the fishing is great!
Ronnie yes we are going to Greenhill and thanks for the info we are going Saturday cant wait. Blenheim, Woodstock & Bicester sounds good also a day in Oxford. I will have to find Water Eaton. I always keep a fishing rod in the van. But not sure if I can use it although its private as I think I would need a licence.

If you ask in reception they will explain how to get to the Park and Ride. You need an Environment Agency Licence for fishing - although never been asked to show mine - you can get a weekly one for £9 from the Post Office and, as there is no charge for fishing if you are camping, that works out fairly cheap. We aren't there this weekend but hope you have a great time - it's a lovely site. We have been going there almost since it opened and are now on a seasonal pitch.
Just realised you are there all week and we will be there on Friday afternoon. We are on Pitch 6 (next to the gate to the Fishing Lakes) if you fancy coming to say hello?
