Hi all, I mught be being daft but we always levellrd out single axle on the yellow ramp with a chock behind thing. but do you do the same with a twin or id there a different method. we did have a go with the ramp ubder the front wheel this weekend which worked fine but the wheels did look very odd as the front one was higher than the back!!
------------- Oh am loving the tin tent after campaining against it..........I was wrong.
If it is a simple lift of about 2 inches I just pull the caravan onto a couple of pieces of timber about a foot square. If it is a bigger lift I use a plank with the blocks on top of that. If it is more than about 3 or 4 inches I swear and get the Kojack out (the Kojack also makes it easier to fit the Alko Secure wheel locks if needed).

I happened to have a few offcuts of decking boards that do the job.
They are (by coincidence) cut slightly longer than necessary to fit both wheels on, so it gives you some flexibility to re-position and get an AL-KO wheel lock on.
I am thinking of cutting 3 boards to progressively longer lengths, so they can be stacked in a sort of podium, to create a ramp on either end. 3 boards stacked gives you about 9cm in height, and can be cut from a tenner's worth of timber. If I drill a couple of 20mm holes through all 3 boards, I am thinking I could use a couple of 6 inch bolts like stakes to hold the boards together. Has anyone done anything similar ?
By the way, short lengths (maybe square) of decking board are good to put under the corner steadies.
