I normally use the full awning as well but recently got a small porch one so I can use that if I can't be bothered to put up the large one, on my own and can't put up the large one, or weather isn't great so would have problems drying the large (porch can be dried easily at home, no chance with full).
Would you get the price you wanted if you tried to sell ? May be worth keeping 'just in case' rather than only get a couple of quid for it ?
We have 3 awnings. Full if away for a week or more (and it's more than just me and the Mrs), porch for up to a week, lightweight porch for weekends or winter when it's too cold to sit out there anyway.
Looks like I should keep hold of for a bit longer. It seems that whenever we go away someone calls in on us and end up staying that's why we take the big one.
we use both, most times its the full awning but if there is only the two of us we take the porch awning.an old bradcot but its great to keep all the boots/shoes and wet coats in.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
If you don't need the extra space for sleeping accomodation a porch is good for weekends or somewhere to leave wet clothes and boots when the weather not too good.
We have a full Pyramid Corsican awning (only used once since new) that is very heavy and a pain in the at to put up, an Isabella Magnum bought second hand for which we have just bought the tall annexe from Ebay plus two lightweight awnings, one Scenic and a suncamp.
We now only put up the Isabella and can do that in under 30 minutes from start to finish and with the Annexe on, we have early as much space as the large awning but as it has the Carbon X pole system is a lot lighter.
