I'm with the other guys...

Porch for weekends and full for more than 3-4 days.

If you don't need the extra space for sleeping accomodation a porch is good for weekends or somewhere to leave wet clothes and boots when the weather not too good.

We have a full Pyramid Corsican awning (only used once since new) that is very heavy and a pain in the at to put up, an Isabella Magnum bought second hand for which we have just bought the tall annexe from Ebay plus two lightweight awnings, one Scenic and a suncamp.

We now only put up the Isabella and can do that in under 30 minutes from start to finish and with the Annexe on, we have early as much space as the large awning but as it has the Carbon X pole system is a lot lighter.
