Our 'van in storage at Burbage and it too got damaged, fortunately some protection was given by overhead trees and neighbouring caravans. Even so the roof is dented and there are a number of dents towards the front of the 'van. We've contacted the insurers and they are aware of the problem in the area and sent us some claim forms. Just need to get a couple of quotes now. I was in Hinckley when the storm struck and sat in the car waiting it out. It was horrendous and our car has dents in it to.

My boss had a 2 week old BMW he went to leicester for a meeting and came back with about 200+ dents and smashed front and rear windscrean. Lex will not pay for it he was nearly crying.

Our 2 month old Pegasus was in storage on the outskirts of Nuneaton and suffered damage to front, roof and rear panel. Local dealership in Kenilworth conducted the estimate for me and passed it straight to Bailey as they would not be able to do the work. Just had the quote for the work today and its nigh on 6k, now waiting for loss assessors to get in touch and see where we go from here. Luckily none of the hail stones punctured the shell. When I contacted above dealers, they were being asked to provide 200+ estimates, but I was only the 4th from our storage site. Now waiting to see how long this is going to take as most manufacturers are in the process of building their 2013 demo models........

We stopped at Melton Mowbray with our caravan at this new site for Adults only and funny enough someone had alot of damage to her car ............

That was us, we hadn't noticed initially but the win screen was cracked in 6 places. Got home, the insurance company wrote the car off. We had to fight them for a decent payout and are buying the car back and paying for the repairs ourselves. Otherwise we would have been hundreds out of pocket

I remember being in France in roughly 1992 and one night it hailed with them being the size of golf balls. It damaged nearly all the vans on the site.

My brother in law was gutted and more so when his insurance company wouldn`t pay for the repair.

It was after that incident he changed to a FC, which hasn`t been damaged by hail stones.
