Would appreciate people's thoughts. When we go away (me, x 2 dogs and the teen and her boyfriend) - so that they can have some, ahem, alone time, what would work better:
caravan & awning (& me potentially feeling I can't go back for xxx amount of hours)
OR
caravan and separate tent that they can call their own but that has a lift up flap thingy we can sit under/eat/watch the world go by when they're feeling sociable
OR
caravan & awning with bedroom pod thingy
Any suggestions (other than leave them at home )
------------- I know nothing....but I learn quickly :)
We used to do caravan and awning with sleeping pod, and still do sometimes, although mine are no longer in their teens,
Just give them a bit of a pep talk about what can be seen and heard through the side of a tent/awning with the lights on lol, and they may keep their loving to the small hours when everyone else is asleep!
We never used to bother keeping out of the way specially for ours, we came and went as we pleased, but we did catch them unawares once coming out of the same shower cubilcle together on a quiet site in north wales!

Been through all of that, use the seperate tent idea, but be warned, they will still spend most of the time in your dry warm caravan watching tv and eating all your food

Awning with a pod would be fine as long as they are not too loud! With the weather being like it has a caravan is much nicer to come back to and more practicle ( nice to come back have a hot drink and the heating on! ) Sure they will be fine no matter which you choose most important thing is to enjoy your holiday
------------- even caravan owners need loving so please be patient when behind me! do forgive me for driving so close to the front of your car!!
