after 4 years of repairing and maintaining my old avondale i have finally bit the bullet and decided to trade it in.
My latest damp readings showing damp back in previous areas I had already repaired and some new ones, so on a trip to my local caravan dealer to buy some normal run of the mill stuff and feeling very depressed on my new findings I found myself wondering around the caravans for sale, and I promise I still had no intention of buying another one .
Anyway I came across a 2006 Coachman Pastiche 530/4 and fell in love with it, and before I knew what I was doing I was enquiring as to how much trade in I could get on the Avondale, being perfectly honest about the damp problem and was surprised to be told to bring it in, I was thinking It would be scrap only.
So, took it down today and was offered a better deal than I expected, so as long as OH likes it as much as me, it's mine woo hoo!!!
Ooh exciting :D we just bought a new van, I made hubby think it was his idea
Have fun, coachmans are great vans x

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
I have had two Coachman caravans now and not been disappointed but the Pastiche is a little more luxurious than the Amara but not as heavy as the VIP model. Good luck with your new purchase anyway, I'm sure you take to it like a duck to water, especially this summer.
We also have a coachman pastiche, superb caravan, would go as far as to say the best we have had. the build quality and finish are excellent, hope you will be as happy with yours as we are...good luck
I'm pleased to say OH loved van as much as me and we pick it up next weekend (big woo hoo), she has already started looking at what new things we need to go in it? I thought we had everything .
No to be honest I am relieved that we both feel the same, and both of us can't wait to get away in our new baby.
Also thanks to everyone confirming build quality, which I must confess was high on my agenda as the Avondale always had me doing some sort of emergency fix on site and having to find the nearest caravan dealer, infact it became one of the essential google searches to do before we went away , hopefully now a thing of the past.
