Hi all,we are looking for a 1990s 4/5 berth tourer with end seating arrangements,ie to make into a double bed giving 2x double beds.Any suggestions as to makes and models(single axle)?Have googled until all googled out! Thanks.
Sprite musketeer 5 berth, makes a double bed up one end and a double bed up the other, with a bunk over the top .

Our Elddis has this layout, as does our friends Lunar. I think most 5 berths have this layout sometimes referred to as a twin dinette or end dinette I think?
We've got a 2000 Abbey Spectrum 620 with twin lounges. It also has bunks that can be set up over the rear seats to make it a 6 berth but we have never used them.
Our friends have a Bailey Pageant (I think it is a Bordeaux) and it has the same kind of layout.
Hi all, thank you for your replies-much appreciated. Our current 2 berth Elddis made a great starter van but with 2 dogs proved a bit too small!with the 2 double beds we can leave the end one permanently made up and use the rest as living space. If the weather continues as it is might be posting a question about liferafts soon,so get your thinking caps on!Once again Thank You-Glenn
I've been contemplating this layout and feel its a cheaper way of getting the equivalent of what the late 90's early 00's saw as the 'fixed bed'.. But the size if the rear double can vary and most aren't really big enough for me.
This is perfect as it has a separate shower cubical ( ie not over the loo ) but I'm not a huge fab of the burgundy sink / cooker !

Bailey Pageant Provence but not sure how far back they did this layout. Ours is a 2008 which has an L shaped lounge at the front with twin sofas at the back which are ideal as childrens single beds or make up into another double with a fold down bunk above.
Our 1998 Elddis Cyclone has this layout. The back bed is a smallish double (it's the same size as our double sleeping bag) doesn't cause us any hassle though and we're not tiny people :). Works for us as we use it as you intend to when the kids aren't with us and we set up the bunks for them when they are.
