Thats the way Kwik fit work I had a mini in 1970 and it fail the mot as the handbreak was no good and it would lock the wheels they done it and passed it and the hand break would not go no to the frist notch.
Never ever go to kwik fit Get the car MOT in a small place

Like any other chain, it depends on the branch. My local Kwik-Fit is very good and a lot more trustworthy than many of the small places.
