so many people seem to worry about awnings either with caravans or folding campers ,theres really nothing to it ,the awning canvas will slide into the track till its equal at either end .
take out the frame and lay out to i.d the parts .it will either have 3 sets of roof poles or 5 depending on size .
find the front sections and i.d them the middle section is always a apex ,you will then have two identifiable corners ,do a dry run on a lawn by making up the front section laid out on the grass .you will then be left with the roof poles .the only thing you have to worry about then is how it fixes to the van ,it will either be pads or clips should be self explanatory really .
mark the poles once i.d is finished with coloured tape to help you next time .
just one tip its usually easier to put up a awning if the zip out sections are taken off so your just putting up the roof and legs ,then zip them in
