At the weekend there my wife was cleaning the inside our caravan after our 3 week summer jaunt when she saw that there was a large damp patch on the carpet under the front skylight. On lifting the carpet I found that the water was still lying on the laminate and I found water on the front lip of the skylight where the fly screen roller is situated so it would appear that the water had entered sometime over that weekend.
I hadn’t noticed but the caravan was parked slightly nose down which I then corrected to slightly nose up and there has been nothing since despite some heavy downpours !
Was it a one off because of an excess amount of rain or is there an inherent design problem ?.
Anybody had anything similar or can throw some light ?.
These rooflights are the ones with the inbuild crank handles and are made by ALKO !.
I’ve sent an email to Dunster House but am not holding my breath for a reply !.
------------- Greetings from the frozen north !
