Our boys rarely come away with us now.  We changed the van last October, but did not down size.  We like a bit of space, so instead of bunks and a side dinette we now have a fixed bed and end shower room.

With the weather the way it is nowadays we spend a lot more time in the caravan instead of being able to sit outdoors, so retaining space was a major concern.

Upon retirement we upsized as we spend more time away now

and we have still managed to fill every locker/space available....
