Topic: Can anyone recommend a good awning?

Our awning was too badly damaged in the winds that battered Cornwall in June and is going through the insurance. It was an Outdoor Revolution New England model. It took ages to find an awning that we liked. We have just been told by the insurance company that there are no New England awnings (1050, size 17) anywhere. My husband phoned outdoor revolution to be told they were not making any more awnings this season. The insurance company recommended 2 but I don't like either of them. I want something in charcoal/grey with plain curtains - I don't like all the jazzy patterns. Can anyone recommend a good awning that matches Outdoor Revolution ones and with fibreglass poles.

have a look at Inaca, i have a seasonal pitch in cornwall and most of the seasonal pitches have this awning.

The best seasonal pitch awning we ever had was the Bradcot Residencia. It stood up to winds that wrecked other awnings without failure at any point. Bit expensive but well worth the money.

We have just bought the Outdoor Revolution New Hampshire last eek loveit and been to Teeside Caravans today and saw the New England so they have them so did Davan caravans insomerset have a look on their websites.

Isabella for us everytime. Ours withstood stormy gales at Old Hartley when all other awnings were blown away or taken in quickly.Only two awnings remained standing and they were both Isabella.

Hi, we got the outdoor revolution new Brunswick residential awning and it has been superb.
Stood up very well to some nasty weather.
Great colours and great awning!

Isabella are the best awnings if you have plenty money to spend. I have a modest budget. Our 'Quest Elite Blenheim' has served us well for less than £400 new. See my gallery images. Very easy to put up, modern system. Aluminiun poles with easy clips, not little buttons. Storm straps included. White curtains available. The material seems good although I am not an expert. We do not use it as a seasonal awning but I have seen some used for that. We have used it several times so far including a five week stint at Benidorm. We have had some bad, but not extreme weather. Sun, wind and rain and it has been ok. I looked at some second hand isabellas but decided to go for a new 'Quest. For seasonable you might want to pay a bit more.

We also have an isobella, it stood up to a mini tornado and high winds last year, we love it.

Isabella are expensive but very good and we are really pleased with it. I got a magnum moonlight a few years old second hand in absolutely mint condition plus carpet for half the price of a new one. If you want Isabella don't rule out second hand.

We've just got a Eurovent Montreaux 4 season awning and up to now we're very pleased. Comes complete with inner ceiling to hide all poles and looks great. Ours is 1035cms and with tall annex was £1034 from Jeff Bowen Awnings - mail order and delivery within 2 days. Only thing is that with it being a 4 season it is steel poles.
