We are looking to stopover for one night near Worcester on our way from Glasgow to Torquay.
Does anyone know a reasonable site close to the M5 in this area that we can use for a freshen up and a nights sleep?

------------- Easter - Ripley Park
April - Drummond Fish Farm CL
May - The Ranch / Maragowan CC Site
June- Troutbeckhead CC site
August- Beverley Hols Torquay
Ketch Caravan Park is practically in Worcester and probably about 10 mins off J7 at the most (it's the M5 you need, not the 6). I've not used this site yet but several colleagues have and rate it highly.
See here for reviews on UKCS website.

If you are a member of the CC, look up Ripple which is owned by Mr Barnes. It is about a mile off the M50 or about two miles if that off the M5 near Strensham Services. It has a toilet, shower and washbasin for Gents and another one for Ladies. Does wifi signal and mobile phone. Railway Inn down the road serves food.
If you are cc member the caravan club have a site at Tewkesbury which isn't far off junction 9 of the m5, if you are caravan and camping club they have 2 sites within 10 minutes off the m5 also, clent hills just outside birmingham and winchcombe again off junction 9
I think ketch is adults only, incase that is a consideration,

Awful road to get to the Ketch as always jam packed especially at the moment with the roadworks up near junction 7. Took us over 20 minutes to do about 2 miles last weekend. Avoid!
Cc or CCC sites at Blacmoor. Malvern are easy to get to, but the easiest one of all is the CC Tewkesbury site.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
I would say Blackmore cc or c&cc . These are both excellent or even winchcomb again not far from the m5 and a lovely site easy access. but not Tewksbury . It is in the town and it can flood.
I second the Briarfields Motel/camping site for £13 per night - it is literally 3 minutes off junction 11 on the M5 - we stayed for 1 night as a stopover on our way to Cornwall, apparantly a lot do this. We only plugged electric in and used their facilities, very clean. There are Asda, KFC and Harvester very near to the site. We had a lovely breakfast the morning after at Asda.
We love Little Meadow River Park at Bredon in Tewkesbury.
Very easy access from motorway & every pitch has a view of the river. Very friendly owners & a few pubs/takeaway within walking distance in the pretty village.
