Really impressed with havens marton mere as they have cut perpex to size and helped them fit it so the people don't have their holiday trashed :)

A lot call Haven sites,but we have found staff at thier sites are second to none,nothing is too much trouble for them, Well done marton mere staff.

Thats great! Glad they were able to help them. I have seen a few people towing with their rooflights up and have made the usual gestures through the window so that they know! Easily done though.

I know someone who did that and they shoved an umbrella through the gap and then put it up!

I had that happen to me once - towed home with a broken skylite - thought it was just the inside but when we arrived back home we found most of the skylite missing.

Had to tape up with strong polythene and gaffa tape and wait arrival of new one from ebay.

Always carry stong poly and gaffa tape now (just in case)

This happened to us to, although we managed to purchase a new one, in the meantime we placed a closed umbrella through the hole, then opened it up to stop the rain coming in temporarily. Worked a treat

My sister/BIL did this years ago whilst we were following them in France, pre mobile days so I couldn't phone.
We were terrified it would come off and hit us! Thankfully got them to pull over in time but I would imagine they would go with some force tbh and could cause some damage.
