Pretty careful driver, with the motto 'better late than dead' - & also prepared to be considerate and pull over and stuff. So, question - got a stabiliser thrown in with my crappy caravan :) but not the bit to attach it to the car - but, after trawling through threads on here, I think, tho I may be wrong, I'd be better spending £££ on a nose weight guage rather than the stabiliser attachment? And as for jack pads, any better than 4 bits of wood? & do I really need a fresh water container, a washing up bowl & all the 101 things that come up under 'caravanning' search on fleabay? Going away for the first time on Sunday to Woolacombe with my crappy caravan & the teens and doggies (yaayyy!). I've got straps & rock pegs so the awning doesn't fly away, & all sorts of stuff already! They;ve promised me a flat pitch...... EDIT: Just had new tyres fitted, caravan being serviced Thurs - it's all the 'bits' that are leaving me head scratching
------------- I know nothing....but I learn quickly :)
