Blinds down when not in use in garden, usually only have heki fly blinds pulled accross to let a little light in.

Done this for the last five years in our van never had a slack blind and never had a problem with windows.

Ive had caravans since 1985

always closed the blinds when not in use

and guess what ?

I have never had a single blind spring break !

We always leave the Fly screens, Blinds up and Curtains open   but we put a winter cover on through the winter season ...

We leave our curtains and blinds open we bought some limo black window film and tinted all the windows to stop fading and for security.
