More caravan tyre pressure questions im afraid

I have a Lunar Clubman 475/2 1993 (crappy but i love it)
We currently have 32 psi in our tyres and Im saying its not enough ...he's saying its fine!!

Thoughts please ladies and gents of great knowledge

Our Lunar Zenith tyres are 51psi for a 1150kg caravan fully laden, i had them checked this morning, 32psi does seem a bit low for a caravans tyre pressure.

My tiny caravan was set to 40 psi by the mobile mechanic.

32 does seem low, especially when carrying a porcupine.

Are they commercial reinforced tyres? There should be a maximum pressure loading stated on the wall of tyre so you could have a look to see what it says. 32 psi. is quite low for a caravan as these pressures are what you generally find on a car but as there are only 2 tyres on a caravan they need to carry the extra weight on one axle that is why reinforced tyres are recommended.

From what I remember mine is either 32 or 36 psi for my 2 berth tourer.

Mine is 38psi and thats a micro camper. It does depend on the tyres you have on though.

You need to tell us what the tyre sizes are,& the MTPLM of the caravan

i have a Lunar Apollo, which has a max loaded weight of 1200kg, Tyre pressure is 54 psi

My 4x4 to pull the caravan has a tyre pressure of 32 psi

32 for a caravan seems dangerously low

Sometimes it`s difficult to get this information, it is for my Daystar.  The previous owner had it down between 54 and 65psi which is the absolute max for the tyres.  I use 45, which has been quoted on a similar posting for  a caravan of 1100kg laden.  Seems fine.
