You need to re-charge the leisure battery first with a proper smart charger which charges in 4 stages and then once it's fully charged you need to check on a daily basis with a multi-meter the battery voltage and see if it decreases or not. A fully charged battery should be 12.7 volts or above, a semi-charge charged battery will be 12.6 volts and if it's 12.5 volts or below then the battery is defective and needs replacing. If you obtain a new leisure battery it will require being re-charged on a regular basis if you are using it to power equipment such as an alarm or water pump etc. otherwise your leisure battery will live a short life.
