We used to carry them in the car with our dog on the wife's knee. All the outside stuff in the car and inside gear i nthe van. Now the dog is on the back seat (it was awkward getting in and out with a dog on the knee!) so there is no room for them, what with everything else, so they go in the van. Funny the reasons why and how we pack!!! Water hog in the bathroom to balance the fact that the extended table is left at home (never use it for the two of us so this reduces weight). Waste hog in the bedroom up against the bathroom door. With the other inside stuff this gives us the right noseweight. Where they go depends on how much you may need to adjust for noseweight, especially if you end up with two full gas cylindars in the front locker at the end of your stay!! Phil
