No there isnt, but theres always one on the end of the phone, and the chances are this pair would hang around until they had got what they wanted off some poor person. I would have called them, on motorways and main routes theres normally a car patroling within a couple of miles of the services that could be dispatched if needed.
We always lock our caravan door when towing, its part of our pre-tow walk around check before we set off onto the road. we also lock ourselves into the car if were held up anywhere in traffic, I once suffered a very frightening experiance of someone trying to open the rear passenger door where my handbag was foolishly left in view on the back seat along with a heap of Christmas shopping, I shall never make that mistake again, luckily it was locked, and a friend who worked in a London bank had someone get into her car at traffic lights as she was leaving work and demand she hand over the work keys as shes had just locked up, very scarey stuff indeed, she had obviously been targeted and followed, although they did catch the culprits thanks to CCTV footage, they were known criminals with previous records for armed robbery, so she got away lightly with no physical injuries as she did what they asked.
