Hi, just returned from a trip out and the pneumatic jockey wheel has popped! This is the second time, and as I'm having a motor mover fitted on Friday, I thought maybe I could go back to a solid wheel. Still got the shale type drive though.
Does anyone have a link to a jockey wheel made of solid rubber and wider than usual? I'm sure I read about one on here somewhere, but after spending hours looking through old posts using the search, I can't find anything!
I do have the original huge p. wheel that I took off and replaced with the smaller burst one, but I have to take it off completely when on the move because it's too big, wont sit next to the a frame and drags on every speed bump. Should I just go back to this and remove whilst travelling? I'm beginning to think I might have dreamed about a wide solid tyre and it doesn't really exist! LOL.
Amy help or recommendations or links for these would be a real help as they are coming to fit the mover on Friday and I will need to have a jockey wheel by then!
My caravan used to have a 70mm wide wheel, but I do not know if they will fit in place of a pneumatic tyre

I have had 3 pneumatic tyres puncture or burst in 2 years and have gone back to a solid one, only last week my neighbour was getting his van out and his tyre burst.
I overcome the problem of it digging in on the gravel by using some plastic things designed to help a vehicle when stuck in mud and get the OH to move them as I operate the mover.
I gave in with my pneumatic jockey wheel on my gravel drive and brought a alko premium solid jockey wheel it also has a integrated weight gauge , I have a mover fitted and it works fine, they can be a bit costly I think most places seem to be selling them for £80ish but got mine from the caravan shop Glasgow for just under £50
Thanks for all your help and the links as well! I looked at them all, then phoned around our local caravan accessories places to see who had one in, and got lucky as just up the road was a lovely man who sorted me one out (wide, solid and the right size) for just £16.99. So I'm a happy bunny.
I have the great donking pneumatic as a spare, and if it runs into trouble I shall just use the piece of carpet that I normally use with the Mr Shifta! If that doesn't work then its a pair of those grip tracks that Saxo recommends.
