I am pretty sure i need one that measures 995 ? I have been offered a second hand one from another user that measures 1050 ? Haven't never put one of these up am i right in thinking this won't fit or is there a measure of tolerence
If you are absolutely sure that your caravan awning measurement is 995 cms. then 1050 cms. is actually 55 cms. longer which is not far off 2 feet longer in length. This means that when you slide the awning bead through the rail you will have almost a foot of slack at either end which suggests that a 1050 cms. awning is far too big. What you actually need is an awning size of 975 - 1000 cms. which is a size 14 in the Dorema range. Don't go by the size though as different awning manufacturers will apply their own size structure to their various model ranges so the size could differ regarding other awning brands. If you look under 'How to find out what size you need' in the Dorema link it shows how to measure for an awning along with the various sizes which in your case would be a size 14 (975 - 1000).
Everytime I've tried the Isabella measurement guide I get a "Connection timed out" message. Anybody else having issues with this web page? (Not just today, tried last week too).
