Just been and picked up a Sprite Major 6 for the family.
We did France this year for the first time, and after spending several hours setting up in the baking sunshine, then 5-6 hours packing away at the end, we decided a van would make more sense.
Fortunately, a friend had decided that they weren't making much use of their van and put it on Ebay whilst we were away. I was surprised when I saw it there and sorted the purchase all out by txt whilst on holiday.
Picked it up tonight and find that it only just fits on the drive, but I now want to go out and spend the night tinkering with it to see how everything work. How sad am I lol.
We can't wait for the weekend to come, we've booked a local site to give it all a whirl and make sure that we're all comfortable with it. Knowing my kids, they'll have broken something within 5 minutes of setting up, assuming of course that I don't scrape it in a hedge on the way
know the feeling well ,when we got ours ,it had been stored under a tree for 2 years + ,so i was out cleaning the roof at 11 o'clock at night ,the wife though i was looney

Not sad just natural for a caravanner and perfectly logical of course. Happy camping. Check wheel nuts regulally , a job lots of people dont bother with and which can cause untold trouble x x x . If they break the top side bunk ladder, rails or curtain I have spares lol . If you dont use them just leave them at home you will weigh less and have more space, x x x Exciting x x x I have a full instruction book too but speak fast as it in the recycling pile
