now this may be a no brianer question with an obvious answer but .....recently we bought a new ( to us ) swift corniche 15/2, a '92 model, now never having owned a swift before nor do i know anyone who has ,so where do'es all the water go should we need to use the fold down vanity sink in the wash room, not as obvious as it may appear as the sink has no plug hole for the water to drain out, the only way i can see of draining the water, would be to lift the sink back to the closed position with the water then going down the back of the unit and out of the 'van by some secret hidden drain
do'es anyone know if my theory is correct ?

thanks MM, kinda thought that would be the case just wanted confirmation really,we never used the sink in the old 'van and can't see us using this one either ,we use the site facilities normally ,just nice to know should we need to

When you tip up the sink, have a look in the the trough below and you will see a small drain hole the same as a standard sink but much smaller. This is where the water flows through and out into your waste tank so basically your theory is right. I had the same system on my old 1992 Coachman Genius.

Except in my sister's van, which the seller had assured her had been cleaned - was all manner of gunk and hair, a china soap dish and an old bar of soap - urrrggghh! So before you fill it, check that the drain/plughole is actually clear as it will just cascade all over the loo underneath if it's not!!
I quite like the the idea of a tip up WHB. Mine is a normal one in the bedroom area and if I use it. I Get water everywhere much to her annoyance. I would of preferred a larger shower area with a tip up WHB. I could make as much mess and it would drain down the shower tray.
