Hi jonboy1, Just saw your post. Had similar problems with the Haven Holiday Park in Berwick, booked one week in a disabled caravan with walk in shower that can take a wheel chair, and had to be next to main block (as they are on level ground), arrived to find not the caravan promised and caravan over 500yards down a steep hill, shower had a 2inch high base for shower tray, and would not support a wheel chair, caravan plates and utensils had to be cleaned before use, also found them to be over priced, bottle of beer £1.25p higher than in the town pubs, poor quality of food, slow service, charge for passes in the price even though the indoor and out door pool was useless for any one in wheel chair absolutely no access, (described as disable friendly at time of booking, Joke!!!), complained to reception staff ( not much help just the box standard answers), we put up with it for the week as our son and the grand kids were in another caravan and did not want us to leave. After returning home sent off a strong letter of complaint, I was offered a complimentary holiday at one of their other disable friendly parks and the passes fee returned (£189.00 for two people), accepted the refund but declined the free holiday, may sound daft!!!, but any one in the same position as our self’s will know exactly why I did decline the offer. Will never use a Haven Holiday Park again. So my advice to you is complain very strongly and do not give up.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
