Murano, we dont mind anything from 2007 onwards. The Challenger is too heavy for us.

There's no benefit having a book full of service stamps if the service hasn't been done properly, we've been sucked in several times. Once by a caravan workshop & then a car workshop so I'm always careful now.

I like to have everything serviced as per manufacturers schedule & aways have done. With our first caravan bought new in 1994/5 we found the dealer hadn't serviced it properly when we had a mobile man service it here after the waranty had expired. That annoyed me a lot & we never went back to that dealer for anything. Thankfully I've every confidence in our local dealer, they're very good. 

We had a similar experience with a local garage we used for our cars, we used them for years until we forgot an MOT & service & they were too busy to fit the car in, I had it serviced & tested elsewhere only to be told some of the filters had never been changed.

Use these guys, they keep your warranty intact and are cheaper than a main dealer, check out your local guys and read their feedback

I didnt know there was a timescale either?  When we bought our previous van, the dealer told us he would sort the warranty transfer so we didnt give it another thought. Come the next service , which was almost a year later - and some work needed doing - we realised dealer had not in fact transferred the warranty.  I phoned Swift and they sorted it without any problems. Might be worth a phone call?
