Mind you I'm no different, sold the van 2 weeks ago and we will if all goes well pick up another one next weekend!!

Tbh I think with teenagers bickering is highly likely on any holiday (we get it!!)

If he did stress over a newish van getting something spilt etc (I do too!) maybe let him look for something else and see what he comes up with. We are lucky in that are 13 year old daughter still really loves coming on holiday, we are however taking her best friend to France with us for 2 weeks next August. She did grumble she was bored at times this year and asked if her best friend could come so we are going prepared. With two of them we'll have a more relaxing holiday, I hope. I know you have other kids but could you possible take your daughters friend for a weekend and stick them in the awning in an annexe to sleep?? We intend to do that with ours in France.

We sold our caravan a couple of years ago for £13000. The man paid us in cash.All £20 and £50 notes. Whilst OH was explaining everything to him I was in the other room counting it all and checking it with one of those markers.Everything was fine.
