wouldn't bother as same problems as above .however we tend to use a slow cooker these days ,put it on in morning and return after a nice day out to a nicely cooked meal .saves all the hassle when your tired
Have thought about taking our small slow cooker. Where do you leave it, inside the van or in the awning? wondering if it would make the inside of van smell of food...
Surprisingly it doesn't you do get a slight aroma of the meal on returning to the van but that just gets the taste buds going ,and as you say if its anything to spicy there is always the awning to leave it in .best thing she ever thought of adding ,we only need a small one for the two of us ,but have a larger one at home if any of the family come with us

hi i got a hal oven last year used it a few times in the cupboard at home we always use a small eletric oven grills an roast i have had a couple now from lidi and aldi and theyare brill i never use gas it cook a meal easy for 2 people they only cost about £20 to £30 would not be with out one only trouble is they only come on sale couple of times a year but argos as ovens
The only fault we found was that they are a bit bulky however that said we were that impressed with the 1st halogen that we bought one for the house as it is a lot cheaper on electric and cooks well.
I also have a 7 ltr Halogen. I live alone and it`s great, no need to keep checking as the timer lets you know. I use it for burgers and most other things that would take half an a hour in my big oven. The cookbook puts you right. Take it away with you, keep it in the box and when not using it keep in the car. I sit mine on the draining board and it is perfectly safe.Mine is an Andrew James and it came with all the bits and pieces plus a spare bulb and cookbook. I`ve had it for four years and it never let me down.
I have had 2, the first one from JML lasted about a year.
I now have a flavorwave turbo which is brilliant it has a hinged lid which is ideal for the awning as you do not have to find anywhere to put a hot lid.
We also use it at home all the time for roasts and roast potatoes.
