Don't normally go on these types of pitches but looking to go to Brittany next year and pitch will have these.
What do people use and what are pro's and con's ie ballcock type thing that goes in you aqua roll or direct connection into the whale socket? Also what do you use for waste pipe? A hose pipe or a long piece of the corrugated waste type piping.
Ballcock in the Aquaroll for us , used a whale direct connector once and it blew the water pipes of under the front dinette even with a pressure relief valve in place .
The resulting flood took days to dry up
you can get the ballcock fitting on the e-of-bay a lot cheaper than the aquarol orginal....and yes you just need a long bit of pipe for the waste.
for the water hose - i suggest you get a decent "food grade" if you are drinking the water....(its all to do with the water that sits in the pipe between useage)...also this stuff is usually high pressure so will take a permenant connection to the site tap without springing a leak.
re the waste, i have ended up with a few bits of differnt lengths, as it will depend on what you need to get to the drain.
Agree with all of the above, seen x2 folk last year alone where the direct feed had caused flooding into their vans.
You can knock up an Aquaroll compatible device easily and a lot cheaper than the original, but I priced up all the bits and bought this kit from this seller in the end, as just as easy and similar price by the time you've bought all the bits.
Cheap and easy enough to leave in the front locker at all times.
Sorry for being the odd one out, direct feed for us, with no problems We use a Truma system.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Thanks for feedback. I think ballcock type way to go. Haven't really looked at prices etc yet but will do. Will need to pay attention next time at a place with serviced waste to see set up I think.
