Hi,
We're looking at buying our first caravan and have looked at a 2005 Cristall Moorea 530BB. As someone moving from tents I'd be very grateful for some advice! Firstly, I'm aware that Cristall are no longer trading so I might need to hunt around for parts, but is this a reasonable caravan in terms of build quality and towing behaviour (would be using a diesel CR-V)? Also, I've read a few comments about the door being on the 'wrong' side. How often is this likely to be a restriction? Are many sites set up so that everyone has the awning on the same side? We're planning mostly UK use and possibly Northern France if we get braver towing!
Many thanks!
If not using an awning i see no problem. If using one you may be told to pitch with caravan other way round, ie not be able to reverse onto pitch, so it would be handy if it has a mover fitted.

Parts won't be a problem, running gear & internal appliances/electrics etc will same as any other caravan, as for body panels for accident damage, you would probably have problems sourcing them for any 2005 caravan. If the body was badly damaged it would be written off anyway.
