Hi all, When I changed my Crusader for a new Crusader twin axle last year, it came with two of the through the wheel locks (like the Alko one's). Being a twin I didnt want the hassle of jacking the side up on site to fit both locks, so just use one of these locks along with a Milenceo wheel clamp on site along with a hitchlock. I didn't get the discount with the CC on the insurance as only fitting one of the receiver locks but I can live with that versus the hassle of fitting both. This is the annoying bit.... Grrrrrr. The amount of times I have got to the site, reversed the van on with the car, disconnected the car, then levelled the van, put the legs down and THEN remembered I havent aligned the wheel with the receiver so have to lift all the legs again. Then find that its too heavy to move back on the gravelled pitch. So have to engage the movers to move it back or forward a few inches. So many years fitting the conventional Milenco type lock I keep forgetting and often whilst its pouring with rain getting soaked. The names I call that blasted lock, my wife just laughes which irritates even more, does anyone elso do this or is it just me and any ideas how I can remember LOL? The annoying thing is, because I think they are such a good idea, I still punish myself using it LOL!!
