hi,mycamper, i have converted my table top but i did not buy a kit its quite simple to do if you have any diy skills, you only need small piece of wood about 3/4inch square and the width of the table top and 3 wood screws to fix the wood to the drawer unit,

Did mine myself, cost me nothing. Sadly didn't take pics of process, but v simple.
Took middle hinge off altogether, the turned hinge over 180 degrees and re-attached it back to the existing top, then attached that to the back edge (nearest the window - although some don't have this edge to attach to).
Then the old bottom slides out from underneath the top, which is now fixed in place (although hinged to fold UP if needed).
I did have to fiddle with the sliding runners to stop the bottom slide out table from coming out too far, and the edge of the new top dropping down once the bottom slid out. This means the top stays on top of the slide out bottom (same as in the pic above).
The only thing I added were two felt pads on the underside of the new top, so that the bottom slide out part doesn't scratch when its being slid in and out.

Birdman have you still got the info on how to convert the centre drawer table top? I found this post whilst looking for info on how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.

Heres a tweet of some pics of how mine now works. Had to add a wooden bar at the back to screw the piano hinge to https://twitter.com/caravannut/status/825380627423846400?s=21https://twitter.com/caravannut/status/825380627423846400?s=21
Thats really helpful. I needed a starting point as my daughter and I are attempting to do this at the weekend. I have very little instructions but have benn told its possible to do.
