Does anyone have one to give me some feedback?

I really like it and have looked at one today, however one thing I notice is the door is REALLY near the front of the van and so very near the slope of the front roof. I'm pretty sure that means that my porch awning wouldnt fit. I've done a link so you can see what I mean

Does anyone know a porch awning that can go so near a sloping roof. Thanks

Instead of a porch awning why don't you go for a combi awning which will slide into awning rail at one side.
Bradcot, isabella ect do them.

I've never heard of a combi awning, are they called just that? Is it like half an awning? Anyone have one. do they take as long as a traditional awning. We love our porch as it is so quick to put up

No it's like a porch but on one side it goes into your awning rail and then drops like a porch at the other..
Try Google Bradcot xl porch, also there are usually a few knocking about on ebay, pre loved ect

Thank you. please can you persuade my hubby.

I love it. I cant stop think about it. Its every thing we want, not just because its new, it just ticks all our boxes. (bigger kitchen, space and some made up beds -although there are 3 of us I think it would really work, I'd buy older same layout if they did it)

However hubby thinks we would be mad to get it, we'd have to finance. I can see that point but I still want it. BADLY. Sensible head is with him, heart has not been put off

Oh tell me about it lol, I dreamt about the van we have now, i just knew that was the one, but hubby wanted to keep the one we had he is very sensible headed,but it's was hard work but I persuaded him in the end, it did take a lot of 'but think how this will work , and how great this will be not having to make up beds ect ect' lol in the end he gave in.....be strong he will snap soon enough.

That is a seriously lovely van, ive never seen such a great usuable fixed bed layout like that,I so hope you can change his mind.

It is very nice and the layout is quite different and very spacious. . We liked it when we went in one.   Too many of us and the van too heavy for us though. We are getting an adria altea next weekend, yes, I snapped under persuasion!

Don't think they expect many of the 8ft wide vans to be used for touring in the UK and are aiming their sales at the seasonal market where no awning or a full awning is more likely to be used.

You've probably hit the nail on the head Tony. We are after a seasonal pitch but haven't secured one yet. Both the ones we like don't allow awnings to be left up, hence my question.

Seen one for a good price but hubby not very keen, particularly not until we sort a seasonal. Both sites won't know availability for some time. I know we should wait but I'm not known for patience and I love it!

The sites which let you leave your awning up have a massive advantage over the ones who don't, I go up to my van every weekend and the thought of putting up my awning or porch every time would put me right off.
Especially in wind, rain and kids in tow.
Just taken mine down and put my porch up until new year.
