Hi Makem,
I have a snooper S7000, which I used extensively over the past season. It is not voice activated, but I would highly recommend it.
You enter the size, width, height and weight of your vehicle and state if you are towing and the snooper will not take you down unsuitable routes.
The large screen is brilliant for visual display of lanes when changing motorways and gives clear vocal instructions for what lane to be in, but where the snooper REALLY comes into its own is finding caravansites.
We toured extensively around Europe this summer and the snooper NEVER had any trouble in finding sites and Aires. Countries visited included, Ireland, Wales, England, Scotland, France, Luxembourg, Germany, Liechtenstein, Austria, Chez Republic, Netherlands and Belgium.
You can find sites either around your current position or around a different position, therefore you can sit at home planning your trip and view sites within 30 miles (or whatever distanceyou set it at) of any town in Europe, and the snooper even has photos of each campsite. You can even set the search to only show sites with the separate facilities that you want.
e.g. Swimming pool;, bar, dogs welcome etc; etc.
I find snooper to be the ideal tool for a motorhome, where you are touring around different areas, rather than a caravan where you basically use only one or two sites as a base.
