I've had to do some remedial work already and I've got a couple of things to do over winter.

I use a local dealer - Turriff caravans -small family firm for anything major.

The only plus out of all this is that we still like the van despite all the problems we've had and will probably continue to have !.

Imagine if we hated it !

But I can see why you bought one they looked good at the time it was only the lack of a front window that put us off...

I've got one with a front window - it leaked !, conventional layout, very comfortable double bed - stay support broke and smallish toilet/shower area - shower cubicle wall has sprung so doors don't close properly. And others to many to mention.

I'm good with my hands so as you say plenty to keep me busy. When I'm finished it will be more fit for purpose the when it left the factory !.

Yeah, still got it. Its up at Turriff Caravans having gotten remedial work done to the various damp issues it has including the leaking side window, Various other work to the inside has also been completed. The delay now is that it appears Dunster House haven't kept any spare parts and the ones they sent up don't fit !. Thi includes the shower door which is cracked because of an insufficient stay which allowed to swing about whilst travelling. The door they sent up doesn't sit in the frame or close when in use. Turriff has reported the problems to Dunster so we'll have to wait and see what their solution is.

All this work has been done under warranty and yes I'm looking forward to using it again this year !
