I am considering fitting a bracket for our TV in the caravan.

We have an Adria 542dl.

Can anyone recommend a brand that is suitable?

I don't see how the brand really matters, what you need to buy is a bracket suitable for the size of tv and then consider what you are fixing it to to make sure it's secure.

The brackets i have seen have been for wall mounting using rawlplugs etc.

At the NEC  i noticed a caravan with a bracket fitted but didnt check the mounting used.

I suspect it was something like mickyd suggests but wondered if there is a support out there designed for caravans

I found a length of veneered chipboard, very similar to the interior finish of the van, about 6"wide (piece of shelving IIRC).  Glued and screwed this to the wall panel which provided a solid base for the tv bracket.  I also screwed in a couple of small cup hooks, so when travelling, I fold the bracket so the tv is against the wall and hold it there with a bungee cord from one hook, over the front of the tv (with a suitable cloth to protect the screen) and up the back to the 2nd hook.

As it is, the piece of chipboard is hardly visible behind the tv anyway.

Yes, I did a similar reinforcement job but still remove the TV whilst travelling. To stop the arm swinging about I stuck it back to the wall with velcro pads.
