Has anybody got any opinions on the Reich Motor Mover?
We were given a demonstration of one when we purchased our first new van on Sunday but it was only attached to a chassis so obviously looked good. The one we were shown was the fully automatic one - at £1050 is this a good price? and are they a good make?

Hi
We have had a Reich mover for 4 years now and it has proved to be an excellent investment. It is very accurate and precise in its movement. We had a problem with the main board whilst in France and Reich couriered a replacement part to our campsite overnight! Ours has the manual engagement that I do with a good quality drill using the same fitting that I use for the corner steadies.

I would recommend it but try to get it a bit cheaper as a quick Google revealed a price of £849!Reich Motor Mover

I had a Reich Mover for over eight years and it has been transferred through 3 vans. I let it go only recently because my new (to me) van has a Purpline Enduro already fitted. The Enduro is a bit slower I think but is only 1 year old so I probably have some warranty on it. The Reich was IMHO a better mover though didn't have cross actuation. I had new rollers fitted to it last year but it has never let me down and if I had been given the choice I'd have had a new one fitted to my latest van. The Reich also had a remote cable, joining the control unit with the remote so that if anything was wrong with the remote the van could still be moved with the mover. I realise that cost is not always a good guideline but in this case I think it is.

£1,050 is about the right price for the fully automatic version. I like the fact that it is galvanised - many are not.

We ordered one at the show but haven't had it installed yet so I cannot say how good or reliable it is. I'm hopeful that it will be both.

Some people are just all show. I don't mind that if the show is worth watching, but .....

We have a Reich on our caravan for the last 2½years and its been brilliant - it came with the van when we bought it - didn't know we needed one until we used it that first time!

My van is 6 years old and came with the Reich fitted. Works brilliant but cannot compare to any others as this is my first/only mover. As FionaW1971 says - didn't know we needed one until we used it that first time!

I have the purpleline enduro 2 and have found that to be well worth the money - it cost £680 with two drop plates added to the cost.
