What do you mean, prepare it for storage, do you mean prepare the van for winter?

Chrissie, you should be able to copy the text easily (I just have).
Position your mouse/cursor at the beginning of the text, left click (and hold) then drag the mouse to highlight the document. Then right click and select 'Copy' from list which appears. Open Word (or whatever you use), right click again and 'Paste'.

WoW!! after I had started it all by hand I had a go. With the usual loads of trouble by getting the lot onto word. Would it go forward from there ....would it nothing. It kept on giving me canot be opened yet again. So  I went around again onto another one under Microsoft Office and eventually left it there. The ONLY way I finally got it where I could see it was to click on the red X top right hand corner when it told me save or not save or cancel I clicked onsave and it finally left it all onto the place where I put it in the beginning. Now I have the lot.

What a load of a palavar. This Is not the first time this has happened, it actually happens a lot where it will not save nor can be sent onward to email it to myself. NO programme to open it is all I get all the time. I do get cheesed off. Got to be a way out as it eventually goes. but I cannot and do not know the answer as not technical enough.

Still I persevered and got it in the end. Thanks a lot, saved a bit of writing doing it that way.

You would be surprise Paul what I have had to put up with and struggle on. Next time I get a laptop it will NOT behaving windows live mail if I can help it. I have to have Virgin as its my supplier via cable for all broadband, tv, phone. A good package had for a few years now.

But I got a Toshiba and it was on it. I have a gmail acc. So I get triple all all mail through every one of them. I cannot get rid of it as I may do something wrong to the rest as it was programmed in to it. I could get rid of the gmail acc. but the Which consumer Magazine gave it a good report for security and a bad one for the windows live one for people getting into them. Lesser of 2 evils keeping the gmail and Virgin and not bothering with live.  What I nee is someone here to put me right and remove all the muck I probably have.
