14 degrees overnight for us, never disturbed by the pump which is in the wardrobe at the opposite end of the van to us. That and our duvalays (summer weight) keep us toasty.
We too use a fan heater with the heating on gas for the initial heating of the van, then switch to electric heating only.
We were slightly sceptical about the claims for Alde heating when we first got this van but would not now like to go back to the blown air system.

I put our thermostat on at 5 degrees with 1 kw setting to keep it from freezing on the drive and was surprised that the temperature went up to approx 12 degrees without the pump coming on ,it was heating from gravity circulation.
