Have just recieved my caravan storage bill for £335, with the option for a 10% discount if I book next years service. My problem is that I bought the caravan in September this year with 2 years warranty. we are away in France all of august. So does anyone know how long before the 12 month date you are allowed to have it serviced, as I would like to have it done before the main holiday. All the relevant paperwork is in the van (in storage) so am just trying to save myself a long journey
To the best of my belief with most UK manufacturers it is 6 weeks either side of purchase date but as the previous person advised I would check with the selling dealer or direct with the manufacturer, as it is a continental brand you may be able to get it serviced whilst in France at a competitive price to maintain your warranty.
------------- Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level then beat you on experience.
Land Rover Freelander 2 & 2014 Lunar Quasar 554
We have a New Lunar and was told by the dealer 4 weeks either side is ok. Would suggest you check with your dealer direct to avoid any problems or voiding your warranty !
With Adria we can go a month over and I spoke them direct they say if we wanted to we could have it any amount earlier so we could adjust the servicing month and the next service would be 12 months from that service. I can't see how any manufacturer can argue that you had it serviced to early as long as the next service is 12 months from that.

we lost our 10 year new for old with the caravan club insurance because it was not serviced on time.(not our fault ) worth checking.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Thanks folks, I have contacted the dealer today and they said up to 6 weeks before the due date and no time after as Michael said this would void the warranty.
Thanks all for the heads up,would hate to throw 12months warranty away....
