Slightly confused looking for a Bradcot awning for elddis xplore 495 2011. Want to be sure on the right size, the Bradcot website says 9300mm on their awning calculator but the Elddis handbook says an awning size of 9450mm. The Bradcot awnings are 915-930 and 945-960, any ideas as to which is correct or will it not matter? Just that we have the chance of getting a 9300mm at a good price. Thanks

Hi,

I looked it up online in the Elddis brochure and it seems that the awning size is 945cm in which case you would need the Bradcot 945-960cm.

The actual difference in size from a 930 to 945 cms. is 15 cms. which is about 6 inches so it's only 3 inches either end but I would also opt for the 945 - 960 as well because if you are on unlevel ground the shorter awning may not reach certain parts of the grass which would then be rendered useless. If the awning is the next size up it gives that extra material you need and if the awning is slightly too big you can always pull the caravan up on ramps to give you the extra height.
